Kansas redshirt freshman Ben McLemore announced during a press conference on Tuesday that he will forgo his eligibility and declare for the NBA Draft.
McLemore led the Jayhawks in scoring (15.9 PPG) and broke the KU freshman scoring record which was held by Danny Manning in 1985.
The All-Big 12 performer also set freshman records with 589 points and 87.0 free throw percentage. McLemore earned multiple All-American honors and recorded three 30-point efforts during the regular season.
