Suspect in jewelry heist may have Topeka ties


Kansas City Police are looking for two suspects who robbed a local jewelry store, one is believed to have ties to Topeka.

Around 2:00 PM Tuesday employees of Linchtenberg’s Fine Jewelry say two men entered the business and stole jewelry by smashing a display case with a hammer.

The suspects left in a dull black 2000-2003 four door Pontiac Grand Prix.

Police say the men may have ties to the Topeka and Columbia, Missouri areas.
