Junction City H.S. girls basketball coach resigns

Junction City, KS – Junction City High School Athletic Director Matthew Westerhaus announced that Coach Justin Hoover has resigned from his position as the Lady Jays head basketball coach.
“Coach Hoover has played a vital role in the development of the girls’ basketball program in Junction City High School and remains a pillar in our business community,” says Athletic Director Matt Westerhaus. An immediate search will take place to find a replacement for the girls head coaching position at Junction City High School.
Of Coach Hoover Superintendent Ron Walker expressed his regrets at the resignation of Justin Hoover. “I have come to know and respect Justin as a man of principle and high character. I wish Justin well as he moves on.”
As the head coach of the Lady Jays Coach Hoover compiled a 67-81 record over his 7 years and led the girls’ to a Centennial League Championship in 2006-07.
