A Hoyt man was arrested after a two-county police chase.
According to KNZA radio, 28-year-old Braden Spicher was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies early Friday morning following the chase that ended in Brown County.
Deputies attempted to stop Spicher around 1:45 am for speeding through the city of Holton.
Deputies followed him north on US Highway 75.
Authorities contacted the Brown County Sheriff’s office to shut down the southbound lane of the highway.
Stop sticks were put down and the tires on Spicher’s vehicle were deflated.
The vehicle came to a stop near the Sac and Fox Casino about 15 miles north of Holton.
