A Manhattan woman is dead after an accident Friday.
It happened at the 600o block of Tuttle Creek Boulevard. Riley County Police say a car driven by 51-year-old Carol Douglas of Manhattan drifted over the center line where it collided with a car driven by 37-year-old Jason Ellis, also of Manhattan. 68-year-old Richard Rowe of Maryland was also a passenger in Ellis’ vehicle.
Police say Douglas died from her injuries at the scene. Ellis was transported to Mercy Hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. Rowe was air-lifted to KU Med in Kansas City with non-life threatening injruies.
Police say they are continuing to investigate this accident.
