Police have pressed charges against a man for a DUI after a car accident near Topeka Friday night.
It happened about a half mile west of 53rd and Adams around 9:30 p.m.
At the scene police said the car flipped and landed in the ditch. They believed alcohol was involved.
A deputy with the Shawnee County Jail says charges have been pressed but not filed yet for a DUI. Police drew blood at the scene to test for alcohol, but the deputy says it can take up to six weeks to get those results.
A name has not been released yet.
