Commissioners gave approval for a contract with U-Stream to provide a live, online feed of commission meetings.
The Information Technology Director briefed commissioners on how it would work.
The department has been experimenting with different technologies for the past few months on how make the meetings available on-line.
The agreement allows U-Stream to provide up to a 100 viewer hours of streaming for $100 a month.
Commissioner Kevin Cook says it’s a good step forward.
Commissioners also approved buying nine riding lawn mowers for the parks and recreation department for more than $155,000.
Commissioner Cook voted against the purchase.
