The Washburn School Of Law also presented $25,000 of donation to the Topeka Literacy Council and Kids Voting Kansas.

The money was raised at The Washburn Student Association’s Barrister’s Ball.

Each fall the ball is held where committee members volunteer to get donations for an auction to raise money for a designated charity.

The Topeka Literacy Council is a not for profit organization who help adults learn to read and write effectively.

And the Kids Voting Kansas aims to increase lifelong voter participation.
