A Topeka bank is helping out the environment with a tree planting at a local school.

The Fidelity Banks provided free Golden Rain Tree seedlings to area fourth graders this week in honor of Arbor Day.

In a ceremony Thursday, the bank presented a tree to McCarter Elementary School.

Seedlings will also be available for free to the public Friday and Saturday at many of the banks Topeka locations.

Fidelity Bank And Trust has given away over 137,000 trees since 1966 after a devastating tornado rolled through the Topeka area damaging many trees.
