The Topeka Police Department will be hosting a site for National Drug Take Back Day tomorrow.
The public can bring in any unused, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs to the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday. The LEC is located at 320 S Kansas Ave in Topeka.
This is a safe disposal for the unwanted prescriptions. No questions are asked and it is free to participate. After the drugs are collected, they will be incinerated according to federal and state environmental guidelines.
