Dr. Patricia Wright, the Easter Seals National Director of Autism Services, will hold an Autism Community Forum Thursday night in Topeka.
The event starts at 6:00 p.m. at the Easter Seals Capper Foundation at 3500 SW 10th St. in Topeka. Foundation President and CEO Jim Leiker said the event should last an hour and a half and is free and open to the public.
Parents, grandparents, family members, medical professionals, teachers, childcare providers or friends who have questions about autism treatment options, new findings, services and expectations are invited to attend.
Dr. Wright is a board certified behavior analyst. She serves Easter Seals on the national level and travels the country to share her knowledge about autism spectrum disorders.
