The Sunflower State Games will stay in Topeka a little while longer.
The games accepted a bid from Visit Topeka, Inc. to keep the event in the capital city until 2016.
The event is an Olympic-style sports festival held annually in July.
This year’s games will be held July 12th-28th at more than 35 locations in and around Topeka.
