The Nemaha County Sheriff’s office is investigating livestock deaths

( KMZA )-The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in finding who dumped chemicals blamed for the deaths of several livestock.

Sheriff Rich Vernon says the sheriff’s office recently received a report of chemicals dumped along 184th Road, about a ½ mile west of K-63 Highway, north of Seneca.
He says it appears someone had dumped the chemicals along side the roadway and they leached out into a farmer’s field resulting in  the livestock deaths.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Nemaha County Sheriff’s office in Seneca.
