Assisted living center helps send families of fallen officers to D.C.

Cinnamon rolls are helping to send the families of two fallen officers make a trip to the nation’s capital.

Legend Senior Living Center presented a check Thursday afternoon to the Topeka Police Department.

The center raised $2800 selling the homemade cinnamon rolls at a neighborhood picnic.

The money will go to the families of Corporal David Gogian and Officer Jeff Atherly to help them travel to Washington, DC for National Fallen Police Officers Day.
