Every Monday until October you can pick up some fresh produce and perhaps check out a good book.
The Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library opened its Farmer’s Market on Monday.
Local growers set up in the library’s parking lot from 8:00 am to 11:30 am and will do so every week until October 7th.
There you can find farm fresh vegetables, herbs, flowers and other goodies.
The library even has a booth set up where you can get recipes.
This is the fifth year for the market part of the capital city wellness initiative.
