RCPD hosts Law Enforcement Memorial

The Riley County Police Department will host the 2013 Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony to honor those local Law Enforcement Officers killed in the line of duty.

This ceremony will recognize all employees of RCPD and their service to the public.

The community is invited to attend this ceremony held today at the Alvin D. Johnson Law Enforcement Center located at 1001 S. Seth Child Road in Manhattan, Kan. beginning at 11 a.m.

The ceremony will be held in front of the Law Enforcement Center and will include the Posting of the Colors by the RCPD Honor Guard and various speakers.

Kansas First News will have footage of the event tonight at 5 and 6.
