The run kicked off at the YWCA and continued through downtown and the Landon Nature Trail. This year nearly 350 ran in the race, ranging in all age groups. The “Girls on the Run” program started back in 2010 and has reached 200 girls annually.
It’s designed to help girls find their inner strength, build self-confidence and celebrate all that makes them unique.
