Kansas head football coach Charlie Weis made the final stop on the KU Football’s Preview Party tour. Weis made appearances in eight cities during the month of May including: Chicago, Dallas, Denver and St. Louis.
Weis discussed the work that lies ahead for year two in Lawrence.
“It all starts when you come into a program is infrastructure,” Weis said. “I believe there is a way of doing business and once you have everything set it makes things easier as far as that goes but still at the end of the day it’s implementing new players and developing your current players and trying to win more football games.”
Weis also announced the addition of wide receiver Nick Harwell, a grant-in-aid transfer from Miami (Ohio), who is eligible to play immediately.
