Active-duty military personnel and their families can get into 2,000 museums across the country for free.
The National Endowment For The Arts made the announcement in the nation’s capital about its fourth annual, “Blue Star Museums” program.
The free admission will be from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
It includes a handful of museums in Topeka, Emporia and Manhattan, including the Topeka And Shawnee County Public Library’s alice c. Sabatini gallery, Richard Howe House Welsh Farmstead and KSU’s Marianna Kistler Beach Museum Of Art.
