An accident this morning sent a Kansas trucker to a Topeka hospital.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a semi-truck driven by 62-year-old Rex Lewellen of Andover was headed South on U.S. Highway 75 north of Topeka when his rig left the road, went into the ditch and rolled on its side.
The accident happened at approximately 6:45 this morning, the report doesn’t indicate why the truck left the highway.
Lewellen was wearing a seat-belt.
