Autopsy Report: man accused of killing Topeka officers had drugs in system

The man who allegedly killed two Topeka Police Officers last year had drugs in his system when he died.

The autopsy of 22-year-old David Tiscareno was released Tuesday from the Shawnee County Coroner.

The report says he had methampeteamine in his system.

It also say he died of a gun shot wound to the chest, and had two other gun shot wounds, one to his shoulder and another to his hand.

On Sunday, December 16, 2012,  Corporal David Gogian and Officer Jeff Atherly were shot after responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle outside a Dillons store.

Tiscareno, was killed 12 hours later after a stand-off at a Topeka home.
