A summer camp for Topeka middle school kids to learn about different careers, wrapped up Thursday.
Washburn Tech held the first week of camp for kids entering the 7th and 8th grade to help them understand the value of technical training and employment opportunities.
A mix of technical programs is being offered including using a backhoe and woodworking.
All of the classes include hands-on activities.
There is another session for 7th and 8th graders the week of June 10th, and a session for students entering 9th and 10th grades the following week.
