Topeka will be playing host to an aviation event with aircraft from World War II.
August 2nd-4th, Topeka will host the gathering of Warbirds and Legends, at Forbes Field.
It’s an event that will bring rare and unusual world war two planes together.
Organizers say it’s not designed to be an air-show, although many of the aircrafts on display be flown during the event.
World War II veterans get free rides on any of the planes.
Admission for adults will be $15, children ages 5 through 16 are $9, while those under 5 and any vet will get in for free.
