Tree damage in the central and northeast part of Topeka from strong straight-line winds. A storm produced winds in excess of  45mph over portions of North Topeka, knocking out power to over 1,000 customers after the height of the storm.

This storm was fairly localized in impact, but some minor damage was reported to the Kansas Ave. Bridge’s guardrail, as well as tree damage to neighborhoods on both sides of the river in that vicinity.
