TOPEKA, KAN. – Kansas Lottery players have just one day to get their Firecracker 50/50 raffle tickets for a chance to win a jackpot that just keeps on growing.
Tomorrow, July 2, one lucky player will “take it all” and win a grand prize equal to 50 percent of all ticket sales! As of 8 a.m. this morning, the jackpot was $116,250 and growing quickly.
For a chance to win, players may purchase Firecracker 50/50 tickets for $20 each at all Kansas Lottery retail locations. The more tickets sold, the higher the jackpot climbs! Firecracker 50/50 jackpot updates are posted on the Kansas Lottery website.
Ticket numbers are printed in the order in which the tickets are purchased. As of 8 a.m. this morning, the Lottery had sold 11,625 tickets. The winner must match their numbers in exact order to those drawn by the Lottery to win. The odds of winning the jackpot will depend on the number of tickets sold when sales end at 2 a.m. on July 2, 2013. The drawing will be conducted later that day and the announcement of the winning number will take place at approximately 11:56 a.m. on July 2.
The announcement will be aired live on KSNT 27 News and Fox 43 KTMJ.
The winner must retain and present the original ticket to claim the jackpot prize. The holder of the winning ticket will have 365 days from the date of the drawing to claim the ticket at Lottery headquarters.
