Autopsy planned on Cory Monteith

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — Canadian authorities say an autopsy is expected to be performed on Monday to determine what caused the death of Cory Monteith (mahn-TEETH’).

The actor who played Finn Hudson in the hit TV series “Glee” was found dead Saturday in a hotel room in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Police say there’s no indication of foul play.

The 31-year-old actor had a history of addiction and checked himself into a treatment facility just last April.

Lea Michele (LEE’-uh mih-SHEHL’), his “Glee” co-star and real-life girlfriend, told People magazine at the time that she loved and supported him and was proud he was seeking help.

Monteith had openly talked about struggling with addiction since he was a teenager, saying he had a serious problem and took just “anything and everything.” He told Parade magazine in 2011 that he was “lucky to be alive.”
