TOPEKA – The Kansas Department of Administration today announced the deadline for submitting proposals for development of a Kansas lake-side, destination resort at Clinton State Park has been extended. Proposals for development of the 175-room hotel and conference center will be accepted by the Department of Administration through 2:00 p.m. July 26, 2013.
Following several questions at the July 2 pre-bid meeting, Department officials determined it would be in the best interest of the project to extend the deadline in order to ensure potential bidders had sufficient time to review responses. The bid amendment is posted to the Department of Administration’s website at http://da.ks.gov/purch/Contracts/Bids.aspx/EVT0002445.
The Kansas Department of Commerce is the agency seeking developers. The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism operates Clinton State Park near the proposed resort site.
