Head on collision sends one to hospital

As of 5:45 a.m. today, all lanes of northbound and southbound U.S. 77 are now open to unrestricted traffic south of Waterville (between mile markers 205-211 in Marshall County) due to mutli-vehicle crash.
The highway was closed in both directions at around 2:15a.m. after a crash involving a semi-tractor trailer and vehicle, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.

Greig Olney, 52, of Manhattan was traveling northbound in his 1998 Jimmy, GMC when  Douglas Ford, 54, of Axtell was traveling in the southbound lane in a Semi when the two collided head-on.

Olney was injured and taken to a hospital, Ford was not injured.
