Missing Lyndon man found dead

The body of Raleigh Heskett and his van were located in Marion County, Kan.

A Silver Alert was issued for Mr. Heskett on July 15, 2013 who was last seen in the Lyndon and Beto Junction area.  The cause of death is not known at this time and an autopsy will be performed.

The investigation still is on going between Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Osage County Sheriff’s Office.

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office and the Heskett family appreciate the assistance of those who call in tips, passed out fliers and posted fliers in their business.

LYNDON, Kan. (AP) — The body of a Lyndon man who had not been seen since July 15 has been found.

The Osage County Sheriff says in a news release that the body of 67-year-old Raleigh Heskett was found Thursday inside his van. The vehicle was parked in Marion County, about 90 miles southwest of Lyndon.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of his death.
