The Topeka City Council continues work on the 2014 city budget.
The governing body met last night at the Law Enforcement Center. Council members heard presentations from non-profit agencies about grand funding for the upcoming fiscal year.
The mayor and council members also heard from the Topeka Performing Arts Center about its request for grant funding. By law, the city must have a budget finalized by August 25, 2013.
