Armed robbery at Midway Wholesale

According to Topeka Police an Armed Robbery was reported at Midway Wholesale after 6 this morning.

The robbery happened at the 200 black of Southwest Chandler.

An employee of Midway Wholesale parked his car on the street to go into work, he was then approached by two black males, at least one of the men was armed with a handgun.  The suspects took the man’s wallet and also the keys to his car.

The suspects are described as two black males in their late teens or early twenties.  One of the suspects was wearing a brown jacket, and the other was wearing an unknown colored hoodie.

The suspects left in the victim’s vehicle and were last seen headed south on Chandler.

The car car that was taken was a blue 2001 four door Pontiac Grand-am

No arrests have been made in this case at this time.

If you see this car police ask that you immediately call 911, do not approach the vehicle since the suspects are armed.
