Members at a Topeka church celebrated breaking ground today on a new expansion. The Topeka Bible Church will add another 4.8 million dollars to their facility in the form of a “Family Life Center”. The addition will have a 450 seat auditorium, and rooms for their weekday classes.
Jim Congdan, pastor of the church, says “This is the first time TBC as built a new building. We’ve renovated a lot of times over the years so we’re very excited to build a new building which will really help expand our children’s ministry especially but also gives us room for sunday schools and a 450 seat auditorium.”
Church leaders say they hope to finish construction by July of next year.
