SilverbackKS uses Twitter to help others

A group working to help others in Topeka uses Twitter to meet new people and help its cause.

SilverbackKS, a group recently honored at the White House for their volunteerism hosted the “tweet and greet” at Nib’s Coffee on north Topeka Blvd.

SilverbackKS leaders were able to meet prospective members and collect donations for their Silver bras and Silver bags program.

“We keep finding these little needs, little niches, and we keep filling them,  and it’s exciting because some of these things we’re doing, have never been done in Topeka,” explained Jude Quinn, a founding member of the group.
