Almost everyone knows about the Farmer’s Almanac and it’s rather mystical and mysterious methods in weather forecasting.  Whether right or wrong, there’s something conversational and fun about looking into a crystal ball to get the winter forecast months ahead of time.

The 2012 Old Farmer’s Almanac called for “Sunny and Cool” weather lase June, with average highs at 70°.

We all know too well that last June was the start of our fierce drought.  The average high was actually 91.6°.
