A third person has been arrested in connection to the July stabbing of a Shrine Bowl player in East Topeka.
Police say 30 year old George Isaac Martinez III was booked into Shawnee County Jail early Sunday morning in connection with Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Robbery.
The charges stem from the July 27, 2013 stabbing of 18 year old Brett Sterbach at a Phillips gas station when he was on his way home to Overland Park from the Shrine Bowl game.
He was able to get hold of the knife and defend himself.
