It will be easier to get around the Flint Hills through public transportation because it’s expanding.
The ribbon was cut yesterday on the new Flint Hills Area Transit Agency Regional Hub.
Organizers say the hub is an 1100 Square foot facility designed and built with energy and efficiency in mind.
It includes geothermal heating and cooling systems and the buildings orientation takes advantage of natural lighting.
