Arrests made in Riley Co. homicide

At approximately 10:30 p.m. September 11, 2013 as a result of the ongoing investigation into the death of John Burroughs, 68, of Manhattan, Kan., the Riley County Police Department Investigations Division made two arrests. These arrests, in connection with this September 8, 2013 homicide, were made at the Riley County Police Department and both subjects are being held at the Riley County Jail in lieu of a one million dollar bond.

Christina Love, 49, of Manhattan, Kansas and James McKenith, 33, of Manhattan, Kansas were each arrested for murder in the 1st degree.

The investigation into this case is ongoing.
