Much of Northeast Kansas picked up rainfall from overnight storm into the early hours of September 16. While the amounts were varied, locations around Manhattan picked up the most. These were the totals prior to 1:00am on September 16.
Additional rains have fallen since midnight with the heaviest hitting at Manhattan. One viewer sent in this photo of 5.7″ of rain in the guage in Manhattan.
With more rain in the forecast throughout the week, the risk of localized flooding may be a concern in the hardest hit regions, but most areas should have little difficulty handling the amounts of rain we’ll see.
