Quiet hurricane season

The Atlantic hurricane season has been unusually quiet so far this year for the United States.  Only 7 storms have been named and we have just passed the peak of hurricane season which occurred on September 10th.  Hurricane season officially ends on November 30th, but once in a while a storm can form in December.  We will track the development of any storms that form.  Currently, conditions are unfavorable for tropical development.
