AT&T* U-verse® customers in Topeka will soon be able to surf with faster speeds, at a price they can afford. U-verse customers will be able to order home High Speed Internet at speeds of up to 45 Mbps downstream and up to 6 Mbps upstream, beginning Sunday, Sept. 29.
“This is our next step in our Project VIP investment plan, and we’re proud to bring customers faster speeds, for a great value,” said Steve Hahn, president of AT&T Kansas. “The vast majority of our customers bundle U-verse Internet and TV because it gives them a better experience, with faster speeds that fit their needs, at an affordable price. We look forward to bringing wired IP services and faster speeds to more customers in the future.”
AT&T’s expansion of faster U-verse Internet speeds is part of AT&T’s Project Velocity IP (VIP), a three-year investment plan announced last fall to expand and enhance its IP broadband networks. Through this investment, AT&T is supporting its customers’ growing desire for high-speed Internet access and new mobile, app and cloud-based services. AT&T plans to upgrade top tier U-verse speeds to up to 100 Mbps in the future.
AT&T U-verse Power is available to eligible residential customers at introductory rates as low as $49.95** per month for up to 24 months bundled with qualifying TV and voice services. Current, eligible U-verse Internet residential customers can upgrade their package and receive $10 off their bill for 12 months. Customers can get more information at att.com/uverse.
