Bar applicants sworn in as attorneys


Successful applicants to the July 2013 Kansas Bar Examination were sworn in as Kansas Attorneys.  More than 150 Bar applicants were on hand to be sworn in before the Kansas Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas at the Topeka Performing Arts Center.

Kansas Supreme Court Chief Justice Lawton Nuss presided over the ceremony and Judge Julie Robinson represented the U.S. District Court.  The Clerk of the Kansas Supreme Court, Carol G. Green, administered the state oath and Rachel Lyle, Pro Se Attorney for the U.S. District Court, administered the federal oath.
