Above average, but not record-setting warmth

As we move into the early part of October, south winds and sunshine will combine for an unusually warm stretch of weather. However, no record highs are anticipated as  highs reach the middle to upper 80s. Records for the first few days of October are:

10/1 – 95°

10/2 -95°

10/3 -96°

10/4 -95°

A strong cold front moving through on Friday will bring in much cooler weather with much cooler weather by Saturday and Sunday.
