Open enrollment continues through the health insurance marketplace.

But, if it seems a bit confusing – there is some help.

Thursday afternoon, was the first of several sessions by the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library to help out people as they are signing up.

Navigators are on-hand to answer questions anyone may have about the process.

“You can also go to to work on the application on your own and if you get stuck,  they have a 1-800 with live assistance 24 hours a day and and there are local navigators that you can call and set up an appointment and have somebody work one on one with you right here in Shawnee County,” Health Information Librarian Lissa Staley said.

If you’re heading to one of these sessions, you should bring employer and income information, such as a W2 or paystub.

You can even make an appointment with a navigator to answer your questions.
