At 7 p.m. yesterday, the Riley County Police Department in association with agents from the Kansas Department of Corrections assigned to the US Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, conducted a search warrant at 321 Holly Place in Manhattan, Kansas.
This search warrant yielded approximately 29.9 grams of methamphetamine as well as several items of drug paraphernalia. These items were seized as evidence of crime with the assistance of the Riley County Police Department’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit.
As a result of this search warrant several arrests were also made.
Tawnee Bubak, 33, of Manhattan was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a parole violation warrant from the Kansas Department of Corrections. She was confined at the Riley County Jail on $3,000 bond. Her warrant was listed as “no bond.” Bubak had not been released from custody at the time of this report.
William Hancock, 54, of Manhattan was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of felony drug paraphernalia, and possession of misdemeanor drug paraphernalia. He was confined at the time of this release in lieu of $8,000.
