After only 2 months of service, Allegiant Airlines will end flights out of Manhattan.
Allegiant made the announcement Monday.
The last day of flights from Manhattan Regional Airport will be February 23, 2014.
“We are always disappointed to end service in a market,” said Eric Fletcher, Allegiant Travel Co. Manager of Airports. “We thank Manhattan Regional Airport for their partnership and apologize to any travelers who are inconvenienced by this decision.”
Allegiant began non-stop flights between Manhattan and Phoenix in November 2013.
Anyone who has reservations after the February 23rd, will be contacted by the airline for a full refund.
