A Mayetta man pleaded guilty Monday to a Federal charge from a domestic assault that took place on tribal lands.
28-year-old William Wilson pleaded guilty to one count of domestic assault by an habitual offender.
In his plea he admitted that on September 7th he assaulted a woman who he was living with on the Prairie Band Pottawatomie Nation Reservation.
Wilson had previously been convicted three other times of domestic assault offenses.
Sentencing is set for April 14th and both parties agree to recommend a sentence between 24 and 40 months in prison.
