People in Eskridge are singing the praises of their plow crews after they got 16 inches of snow.
Most streets were clear by lunch time Wednesday but there are several monuments to the storm around town.
Along the main drag, inside the “Coffee Cup Cafe,” people traded stories of digging out.
At the Cafe Kansas First News Reporter Kevin Boughton chatted with the post master general in Eskridge. He said their mail carriers were ready to roll but deliveries from sorting facilities were slow to arrive.
With 16 inches, Eskridge had the most snow between Manhattan and Topeka.
