Body found believed to be missing Junction City woman

Authorities have two people under arrest in the death of a woman who was found dead last night.

Junction City police chief Tim Brown had asked for the public’s help to find 24 year-old Amanda Clemons of Junction City.  She was last seen Friday night at a Junction City hotel.  Police had received information that she was placed in a vehicle occupied by two black men and two black females.

On Wednesday, authorities developed information on the case and subsequent interviews led them to a rural Geary County location where the body of a female was found Wednesday night.  The identify of the victim has not been identified but the victim matches the description of Clemons.

Two people have been arrested in the case.  22 year-old Marryssa Monyque Middleton of Colorado has been arrested on charges of 1st degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and conspiracy.  23 year-old Drexel Alexander Woody of Fort Riley has been arrested and charged with Aiding and Abetting 1st degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and Conspiracy.
