CHOTEAU, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a man was seriously injured when he hit his head on a steel mailbox while leaning out the window of a moving car so he could vomit.
The 23-year-old man from Choteau was hurt at about 8 p.m. Wednesday on a rural road in Wagoner County.
The Tulsa World reported Thursday that troopers say the man was taken to a hospital in Muskogee after connecting with the mailbox. Authorities said the man was in serious condition and was transferred to Tulsa hospital.
