MANHATTAN, Kan. (KSNT) – Fake Patty’s Day kept local law enforcement busy this weekend according to numbers released today.
During a 35 hour period Riley County Police in partnership with multiple other agencies responded to 234 calls for service. Police issued a total of 541 citations to participants for things including open container violations and parking issues.
One hundred minors were cited for being in possession of alcohol. Officers responded to 6 violent crimes: including 4 reports of battery, a robbery, and one count of rape. One hundred sixty-four criminal reports were filed.
